Project Program Manager

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a PROJECT PROGRAM MANAGER to join our client in New York, NY.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversees various system projects of a complex nature.
- Responsible for developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
- Is familiar with system scope and project objectives as well as the role and function of development team in order to effectively coordinate project goals.
- Maintains working relationship with client functional areas outside of IT.
- Involved in systems analysts, software design, programming and operations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Education Level: Bachelor Degree.
- Possesses technical ability.
- Strong Management Consulting and Project/Program management expertise in complex business environment.
- Significant functional and technical experience using, implementing complex systems.
- Deep knowledge implementing Order Management, Billing and product catalog systems
- Large consulting firm and/or Fortune 1000 company background; formal training as a Business Analyst or Project Manager preferred; PMP a plus.
- Strong data analysis, report development and automation skills including: expertise in SQL queries for Oracle or MSSQL, advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong data mapping, building queries, data extraction, manipulation and conversion, experience working with data warehouses or databases.
- Significant interaction with functional business users and experience in planning and conducting analysis of business processes and problems as well as experience creating necessary functional, business and non functional requirements.
- Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and Workflow documentation expertise.
- Experience in translating business problems/requirements into technical specifications for configuration or development.
- Hands-on with Project Governance structure, ability to create all necessary Project reporting, plans, notes and lead team meetings.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) know-how; systems quality assurance (QA) testing experience using automated testing tools.
- Project change management experience with facilitation of training and communications.
