My client deals with Space & Ground Systems and provides innovative high-tech solutions for space and ground applications.
The ground based activities include Simulation & Testing (EGSE), TTC & TM/TC Systems, RF Test Systems, Earth Observation ground stations, High-Rate & TTC Modems and Data Processing Systems.
In the space segment the company provides smallsat sensors and subsystems for the commercial smallsat market and is involved in the development of a new generation on-board computer, on-board payload data processor, as well as in the development of a smallsat FMCW SAR radar.
They are now looking for a Project Product Assurance Engineer.
The primary tasks associated with this position are:
*Prepare Product Assurance and Safety Plans and ensure that these are correctly implemented within the organisation/project teams
*Prepare project product assurance documentation
*Participate in formal project milestone reviews (eg Design, Test Readiness, Post Test, Delivery Reviews)
*Interface with customers on all Product Assurance related activities
*Prepare and manage RFD/RFW's, NCR's and participate in NRB/MRB's
*Manage any corrective actions resulting from identified deficiencies/shortcomings
*Perform internal audits (product and process)
*Be active in ensuring continuous process/quality improvements
The successful candidate will have following qualifications/experience/attributes:
*Engineer (Degree level) with 2+ years of experience in Product Assurance disciplines.
*Experience within the space domain with a working knowledge of ESA ECSS development and quality standards (for ground and/or flight product applications)
*Experience in defining, implementing and monitoring Product Assurance processes.
*Experience of working in the electronic system development environments (hardware/firmware and software)
*Experience in supporting (at a hands-on level) the Engineering Teams and have a proactive attitude to solving problems
*Experience in configuration management (documentation, hardware, software, etc)
*Have strong communication and collaboration skills and an eye for detail
