Role: Project Process Improvement Engineer
Type - initially 11 month contract
Location - Ireland, South East
Our key client, a global pharmaceutical leader, is looking for a Project Process Improvement Engineer to be responsible for leading process and equipment investigations and troubleshooting issues on capital and expense projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and implement site capital and expense projects.
Change Controls Generation & Closeout
Lead Route Cause Analysis investigations for Equipment and Process issues and incidents Completing Process Safety Risk Assessments and Action Item Closeout
Completing Process and Equipment FMEA and Action Item Closeout
Troubleshooting and investigation of Process related issues using Lean Six Sigma Tools
Areas working within will include: Formulations, Buffer Prep., Adjuvant Prep, component build/sterilization and Fill Finish areas of the facility.
Lead Kaizen activities for IPT on Processes and Systems
Participate in Kaizen activities (EHS, Quality etc.) across the site.
Work under the guidance of site LSS Engineers and Engineering Manager to apply lean tools to process data in order to complete process improvements
Work with validation, maintenance and production operators in investigation of equipment performance issues.
Participate in HAZOP s on behalf of IPT and develop to lead HAZOP s if required.
Complete review and approval of technical documentation incl. Automation Change Controls, Automation Detailed design documents, Validation Protocols and Site Standard Operating Procedures as required.
Key Requirements:
B.eng/B.S. Chemical, Mechanical, Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology or equivalent Qualification preferred.
Experience required in operations/manufacturing or Engineering within Pharmaceutical GMP environment is essential.
Experience in Formulations, buffer prep, washers, autoclaves and Fill Finish is considered a strong advantage.
DeltaV and disposable technology experience is considered an advantage.
Lean qualification and experience desirable but not essential.
Excellent technical, teamwork and communication
