The Project Portfolio Manager is responsible for supporting the technology governance process. This position is dedicated to facilitating and maintaining our technology oversight and compliance process.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Assist in the processing of projects through the governance process.
- Coordinate, monitor, and track the portfolio of projects.
- Assist in the gathering and reporting of portfolio status and variances.
- Work with each technology PMO to report on resource capacity and portfolio activity.
- Maintain source of record for project approvals.
- Utilizes Visa tools and methods to analyze and gather data needed for analysis and reporting of projects, programs, and portfolio
- Reports on data quality, completeness, consistency and integrity; publishes monthly data quality metrics. Communicates findings and supports Project and Program managers to maintain a high level of project data quality
- Tracks and reports on inter-project dependencies and their resulting risks and impacts

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycles including Agile and Waterfall
- Strong focus on customer service as it relates to Sr. Leaders throughout the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, facilitation, mediation, collaboration and presentation, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines under time constraints
- Thorough Excel background required to complete ad-hoc analytical analyses
- Ability to organize material, analyze a wide variety of facts and develop appropriate recommendations
- Ability to train and mentor staff in project portfolio management processes
- Strong analytical and problem solving skill
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment and remain flexible
- The ability to coordinate multiple key stakeholder meetings, complete detailed analyses via Excel, preserve an accurate repository, and maintain a running schedule of topics is critical to successful performance of this position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- 2 3 years experience in IT, Finance, PMO or Portfolio Management
- 2 -3 years IT Project Management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Experience with data analysis or financial analysis
- Proven SharePoint experience
- Project management experience preferred
- Microsoft Excel 2 years experience
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2 years experience
- SharePoint 2 years experience
- Strategic Planning 2 Years experience
