Project Planner - Utilities Sector (Yorkshire)

My client are a Consultancy Practice specialising across disciplines such as Project Management, Cost Management and similar.

Their Leeds office is currently servicing a large utilities framework client within which a role for a Project Planner has been created.

The successful candidate will be working as part of the Major Project team supporting the delivery of the CAPEX project portfolio specifically becoming involved in portfolio project planning, Primavera P6 planning and production of monthly MI including forecasting and financial MI (NGN SIRIUS).

The Planner will need to be able to work on and manage a portfolio of projects as part of a small, dynamic, focussed integrated team.

As this position will be based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, candidates that can travel to this location within an hour will be considered first and foremost.

Requirements:

- Experience planning on major gas projects ideal, other sectors will be considered, power, rail etc
- Primavera P6 experience
- Understands the integration between Primavera and Risk Analysis software
- Experience of critical path analysis
- Experience of programme acceptance process under NEC Contracts
- Understand the impact of compensation events
- Experienced in EVM
- Experience in production of as built planning records
- Experience in physical progress capture
