PROJECT PLANNING WITHIN THE DEFENCE SECTOR. If this is correct then these skills are relevant to a PROJECT PLANNING 7 MONTH CONTRACT I am looking to fill.

A leading defence contractor require a project planner for the engineering project manager on a large Naval project. The successful candidate will be responsible for Planning & Control of the project/task programmes across all technical disciplines and their interfaces, including the associated risk management and product liability issues. Therefore they require somebody who has acquired the necessary competence through theory, experience and skill within discipline and requires minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate must be security clearable and be an experienced project planner within the defence or a related industry.

Recognised ship building/marine related trade and/or good product knowledge and a good understanding of the principles of network planning are desirable though not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on some of the countries largest engineering projects on a 7 month contract (most contracts extend) for a truly blue chip organisation alongside industry thought-leaders. £33 P/H BASED IN PORTSMOUTH.
