Project Planner Engineer - Primavera - South Africa

PROJECT PLANNER ENGINEER - PRIMAVERA - SOUTH AFRICA

We are looking for an experienced project planner that has excellent skills using Primavera. The role is located in Johannesburg, South Africa. You should have a track record in Project Planning with recent commercial experience of working with Primavera.

You will be supporting an outage and will be required to produce and monitor project plans using Primavera.

Skills Required:

- 2 years plus experience of Project Planning using to Primavera
- Up to date commercial experience of working with Primavera
- Engineering background preferably

Key areas:

- Production and maintenance of project plans using Primavera in line with company standards and the project structure
- Regular progress reporting liaising with Project Managers and other senior staff
- Assist in the analysis of costing reports received by project managers
- Ensure plans are realistic and consistent with estimates of costs to complete
- Monitor programme continually against performance
- Incorporate programme variations
- Programme report to client/management
- Anticipate problem areas regarding critical paths and advise remedial action.
- Take a proactive role in managing client interfaces, and interfaces with other contractors.
