Located - Bradford, West Yorkshire
Contract - Market Rate

Role
My client are a large retail organisation who are looking for a Project Planner to work alongside senior stakeholders to plan on IT/Business project work streams.

Responsibilities:
*Working with Senior Stakeholders to produce end to end Microsoft Project Plans
*Integration of workstream plans into an overall integrated Programme Plan - both IT and business
*Experience of working on large, complex Programmes, with multiple internal and external workstreams
*Ability to manage complex dependencies across workstreams and external partners/suppliers
*Production of Planning MI to support the status reporting processes and milestone tracking activities
*Highly proactive approach - eg ability and willingness to move forward with limited information to get a 'stake in the ground' position established
*High degree of tenacity when faced with challenging stakeholders (who 'don't have time' for planning)

Experience
*Previous experience as a Project Planner within an IT & Business department
*Experience of working in a Prince2 environment - Ideally Prince2 Practitioner
*Excellent stakeholder management skills
*Ability to create a collaborative approach whilst ensuring stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities with regard to planning
*Clear and concise communicator
*Some experience of working in a Retail/IT environment would be beneficial.
*Proficient use of Microsoft Project (ideally Pro) 2010 and Server (EPM).
