My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, are looking to recruit a Project Planner to join their powertrain division on a long-term contract basis.

Location: Whitley, Warwickshire

Role: Project Planner

Position Description:

* To manage and collate timing information for all department programmes, including different sources.
* To resolve timing issues with relevant fact holders.
* To integrate in a single master plan all the department's plans.
* To represent PT22 in PTSTs
* To support weekly review meetings, time and resources reviews, KPIs

Skills Required:

Project/programme planning skills are mandatory. Must be able to lead planning activities for Department, suggesting and managing appropriate tools to reach objectives.

Skills Preferred:

MS Project proficiency is a definite plus

Experience Required:

Extensive previous experience in automotive engineering programme/project planning role(s). Previous experience of reporting out programme status is key

Education Required:

Educated to degree standard in an engineering discipline, preferably automotive
