Project Officer

Our client is currently deploying Windows 8 and Office 365. To facilitate this deployment and subsequent support of the environment our client is seeking Project Officer to coordinate a range of Information Technology (IT) related activities including desktop and laptop asset replacements and relocations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Co-ordinate IT related activities for the replacement and relocation of IT assets for staff and/or changes to IT facilities at office sites across Queensland.
- Develop, maintain, administer and improve the project and IT asset replacement processes, in collaboration with other project team members, and ensure that standardised methods and procedures are used.
- Ensure project and IT asset replacement processes and details are documented, tracked and communicated to all relevant groups.
- Participate in a team of technical specialists to undertake the development, configuration and implementation of new initiatives and solutions within an ICT environment.
- Provide feedback to clients and teams regarding the status of problems and service requests to ensure that agreed service levels and client service standards are achieved.

- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate tasks to meet deadlines in a professional and positive manner utilising a high level of initiative with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage change and resources to ensure that the impacts of the change are proactively understood and the relevant resources and/or information technology services group are ready to provide support services in a timely and correct manner.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, written and oral communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to provide IT related advice and guidance to users and customers ensuring that client service requirements are understood and delivered.
