PROJECT OFFICE SUPPORT, PROJECT CO-ORDINATORS - PMO - INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES - WINDOWS 7 ROLLOUT

The Xceed Group is now looking for a number of PROJECT OFFICE SUPPORT, PROJECT COORDINATORS to support their global financial services client to deliver a large Windows 7 Desktop rollout programme.

Location: South Dublin, Ireland

Xceed is delighted to be investing in our technical expertise and professional services. Over the next 12 months we are looking to build an additional world-class teams of Infrastructure Project Managers, PMO and Project support staff to underpin several exciting new contracts that have been won. This represents opportunities to work with leading technologies and blue chip clients. The core elements to these services will be infrastructure based including Migrations, Separations, Transformations, Desktop, Data Centre, Building (and decommissioning) Servers - (Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris), Storage and back-up (IBM, DSx, StorWize, TSM, N-Series, Net-App), EMC, HP, Clustering (Microsoft, VMware, HA), Cloud, and Databases (SQL Server, DB2, Oracle).

We work across various markets including Financial Services, Telecommunications, Media and Energy markets. Our core skills have developed from pure technology through to IT Infrastructure & Application Integration and Business Change, with strong Project and Programme Management always at the core.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As an experienced PROJECT OFFICE SUPPORT, PROJECT COORDINATOR you must have a proven ability to supporting infrastructure projects. You will have already assisted in the delivery of ideally Desktop upgrades and rollout projects. Also you must have a solid technical understanding of broad range of infrastructure technologies, covering Desktop, SAN storage, networking, Servers, OS, Virtualisation, databases and Middleware.

- Experience of assisting in the delivering infrastructure projects, ie Applications, Desktop, Storage, Data Centre etc
- Effective communication in order to represent the company positively within senior levels of the customer's organisation, including key business stakeholders
- Guiding and direct the work of a multi-functional team, ensuring that the project team members follow the standard processes and procedures.
- Ability to identify, manage and mitigate project risks/issues and team/project conflict.
- Driving customer and internal teams to deliver project within the agreed time, cost and quality
- There will be travel across Ireland to customer sites as and when required.
- Project plan preparation and ownership through project delivery
- Manage and own project delivery within budget, scope, quality and time requirements
- Allocation of project tasks to project team
- Risk & issues identification and management throughout the project
- Lead and participate in project teams to implement project deliverables
- Create documentation for projects include plans, Gantt charts, resource plans, status reports risk logs.
- Forecast and report on actual revenue for each project

This is a great opportunity to work as an Xceed Associate on one of our tier 1 accounts for a 3 - 12 months contract.
