The key role of a Project Management Analyst within the project management office is that of contributor to the planning and delivery of a project.

The position will be accountable for contributing to the project initiation, planning and control for complex components, subsystems or processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs complex project planning, identifies critical issues, and drives the project team to resolve gaps and problems.
- Work directly with different business units, suppliers, customers and/or other teams.
- Provides input for staffing and support of programs and creates accurate and detailed schedules.
- Plan and lead program and project planning sessions.
- Function independently in leading a large diverse program or project planning session.
- Preparation and pre-work for the session as well as follow up and action ownership.
- Mentor/coach the leadership team and address leadership issues one-on-one with senior divisional and department management.
- Mentor/train Program Coordinators.

SKILLS

Requirements:
Primavera - 1 year continuous experience. The candidate should have the ability to adapt to diverse business climates. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Good communication skills. Project Management experience with minimum 1 year experience where the candidate's primary role was in project planning and scheduling using Critical Path Methodology (CPM) with a Project Scheduling Software Tool (eg, Primavera, MS Project), Professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, PowerPoint). Must be a self-starter with strong leadership and teamwork skills. Requires the ability to communicate information in a concise and accurate manner. Able to control a planning session, stop any side bar conversations constructively, and keep the team focused on the objectives. Able to successfully hand off projects to Project Coordinators.

Desired:
Project Meeting Facilitation in corporate environment, Project cost management experience, Resource loading/portfolio resource management experience. Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical Field (IT, Engineering), Primavera Database Administration, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, MS Project experience. Facilitation experience.
