Project Manager's - (Construction/Public/Government Sector)

Our client is look for 10 Project Managers to join a growing team to help develop and maintain current project, this is for an initial 6 month contract based in several areas of the UK:

London

Hertfordshire

Yorkshire

North West England

Midlands

The Project Manager will assist with the delivery of a group of private finance schemes within the business. The Project Manager will be in regular contact with schools, Academies, Academy Sponsors and local authorities and may be given the lead on the development of individual school schemes. The Project Manager will assist the Project Director(s) in the management and delivery of the government's investment programme for schools.

Main Duties:

Programme and Project Management
* Understands and uses Programme and Project Management techniques, including risk management
* Understand and contributes to definition and delivery of programme benefits and business case development
* Plans and delivers strong relationships with stakeholders ensuring that the organisation is a respected customer and provider.
* Ability to engage with PPM, procurement and commercial experts on the delivery of projects
People Management
* Coaches and develops individuals and manages own development.
* Employs a range of appropriate techniques to promote equality of opportunity and diversity.
Financial Management
* Promotes and enforces appropriate business rules.
Analysis and Use of Evidence
* Uses evidence to evaluate policies, projects and programmes.
* Engages with relevant experts to gather and evaluate evidence.

Key Skills Required:

* Experience of working with and/or within local authorities, schools or academies

* Ability to challenge, influence and negotiate with a wide variety of stakeholders.

* Evaluates situations, foresees problems and escalates issues as and when necessary.

* Works and makes decisions independently, but within clear guidelines and with managerial support as required

* Keeps up to date with professional knowledge, expertise and best practice
