For our Client we are looking for a Project Manager with VAT Experience (f/m) on a freelance basis.

Project Start: 15.05.2017 / 01.06.2017
Project duration: 5-6 month
Location: remote
Hours/week: 20h

Background / Goal:
FTT (Finance Tax Trade) aims to gain more insight, increase quality, reduce risk and generate planning opportunities in regards to VAT (Value added Tax). With increasing complexity of business transaction, FTT needs to use "big data in a smart way to be able to capture, manage and analyze data to drive business strategy and performance. Not only looking backwards to evaluating what happened in the past, but also to forward-looking scenario planning and predictive modelling.

Tasks:
- Determining, analyzing and consulting on business processes in regards to VAT compliance
- Monitoring, improving and documenting global VAT process
- Requesting advise and coordinate external tax advisors
- Creating awareness of relevant VAT-topics and executing trainings
- Coordinating on processes that need to be aligned with our Shared Service Centre
- Supporting user acceptance testing before go-live of new environment

Skills:
- Tax consultant
- PMO experience
