Job Description

The role of the Manager, Project Management Office Consumer (PMO) is to manage the team of project and program managers as well as being hands on, running important programs/projects and facilitating key processes for the organization.

Responsibilities

Support and monitor the current portfolio of ongoing projects, making sure they are going to be delivered in accordance with the strategic roadmap
Start new projects, define scope, goals and deliverables, in accordance with the strategic roadmap.
Facilitate a range of processes for the organization to help deliver the strategic roadmap
Coordinate cross project activities and dependencies, help resolve project issues
Develop and control deadlines, budget and activities
Apply change, risk and resource management
Prepare project reports
Facilitate meetings and decision making for program/projects with higher management
Interface and align with a wide range of stakeholders, from business as technical side
Manage escalations with higher management
Lead, coach and guide the project managers in the team to reach project goal as well as on personal development

Education and Experience
Proven experience as program/project manager, 7+
Proven experience in managing/coaching teams
Experience with Agile methodology

Outstanding leadership and change management skills
Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Excellent problem solving ability
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Good understanding of the telecom market and terminology
Digital knowledge and mindset
Ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to defuse tension among and between project teams, should it arise
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment is crucial
