Project Manager with Payments and Pegasystems Experience

Job Purpose
My client is looking for a Project Manager who has a wealth of experience within Payments and particularly knowledge about PEGAsystems.

The candidate should be able to initiate business change within the payments sector.

*Management of a number of high, medium and low projects and programmes from inception to delivery across the businesses to time, cost, quality and scope
*Deliver benefits (revenue gains, cost savings, compliance) in line with the business case
*Management and development of staff within the team
*Work alongside Senior Management to define their future change agenda, identifying new initiatives to improve the customer/business experience.

Main Accountabilities and approximate time split
Project Delivery (70%)
(Accountable to Programme Manager/Accountable Executive)
*Lead project from inception to delivery, including:
oAccountability for ensuring that project outcomes are achieved and completed to time, cost and quality
oAccountability for ensuring project remains on track to deliver benefits
oAccountability for meeting outbound dependencies
oManage projects in accordance with the companies governance standards.
oPotentially manage project delivery across different countries, managing relationships and progress remotely
oConfidently manage technically or legally complicated projects and resolve complex issues
*Develop relationships with Senior Stakeholders across Global Payments, Technology Office and client areas to shape change projects within their departments
*Work with Senior Stakeholders to identify new initiatives to enhance their business experience.
*Present and report project statuses to Senior Stakeholders, exerting influence and negotiation where necessary to define and drive the change agenda.
Organisational Development (20%)
*Line Manage and coach selected B3-B4 individuals (including Business Analysts) including Performance Development, Annual Reviews, Personal and Professional Development needs and Diversity, Disciplinary & Grievance and other group HR policies.
Personal & Professional Development (10%)
*Continued development as a Project Manager, by delivering stretching projects (in terms of complexity, stakeholders, budget and benefits) and taking leading roles in major programmes when the opportunity arises
*Maintain leading-edge personal and professional development by regular and focused activity, which covers the complete development spectrum (ie conferences, courses, personal coaching, etc).
*Qualify as a PRINCE2 Practitioner and MSP Practitioner

*Payment Processing Landscapes, including SWIFT, SMS, Faster Payments, BACS, Global Pay Plus.

Experience, qualifications and other requirements specific to the role
Essential
*SATISFIES THE FSA CRITERIA FOR AN APPROVED PERSON, BOTH INITIALLY AND ONGOING
*Demonstrable track record of successful delivery of a number of change projects (not necessarily in the finance sector)
