Need for Project Manager (with ASP.NET and C#) for the Carson City, Nevada area for one of our premier clients.

This is 8 month contract opportunity with a December 2, 2012 start date and end date of 6-30-2013 (with a possible extension to 2-1-2014).

Note: Selected candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Carson City, Nevada - 100% onsite (except some possible travel in Nevada).

PROJECT OVERVIEW (PROJECT MANAGER WITH PROGRAMMING SKILLS):

Consultant will provide Project Management support.The goal of our client is to develop, pilot and implement a secured background check website which certain entities would be able to access from any computer or mobile device with Internet access.

Experience and Skills Required:

- Project Management Experience
- Programming with MS SQL Server 2008 R2 (SP1)
- Programming with ASP.NET MVC 3
- Programming with C#.NET
- MS Entity Framework 4.1
- Enterprise Library 5.0 (Data, Logging, Exception Handling)
- Ability to gather system rerquirements
- Translate system requirements into application desish
- Create end user training materials and conduct training
- Knowledge of data security provisions and protocols

SCOPE OF WORK:

The consultant will serve as the background check website grant Project Manager:

- Assist with background check website production support including system analysis, troubleshooting, problem resolution, testing and training;
- Assist with updates as required to remain current and operational;
- Assist in the development and approval of the background check website requirements;
- Assist with gap analysis;
- Assist with test plan and strategy and coordinate testing activities;
- Assist with execution of pilot;
- Assist with system deployment;
- Assist with provider roll out;
- Apply principals of structured Project Management (PM); Coordinate the development of the background check website
