Project Manager - Web Implementation

A long term opportunity exists for a Project Manager experienced in Web Implementations to join an exciting project taking a non web based system into a web based system. The goal is to allow anytime access to a much wider range of resources, functionality and collaboration. The successful candidate will have a similar background managing a similar project with PRINCE2 methodology.

The project has already been successfully tendered and contract negotiations have been completed. The implementation will involve some customisation and integration development, data migration, training and on boarding. You will be required to track, manage and report on all of these activities.

Required skills:

- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing and delivering complex IT projects in large scale environment
- The ability to work across and liaise with multiple teams; including vendor, business and technical teams.
- High level stakeholder management, change and communication skills - previous successful engagement with stakeholders from both the business and technical side, who may have a wide range of IT ability and organisational seniority.
- Formal PRINCE2 practitioner training plus prior reporting and governance work within the PRINCE2 framework. The contractor will need to report and operate in accordance with the ITD PMO standards.
- A clear aptitude in pro-actively managing risks and issues across the project life cycle, with appropriate reporting and escalation.
- A natural team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
