Project Manager - Web/Drupal

Use your previous web and project management experience to work on phase 2 of a very high profile project. Experience with DRUPAL will be highly regarded.

Phase 1 was successfully launched mid December 2013.

Working with the foundation work that has already been started for phase 2, you will need to scope, cost and deliver the project.

Your communication skills are most important with this role as you will be required to liaise with other staff, consultants, external stakeholders and the steering committee.

While the length of the contract is until end February 2015, there is a possible extension on offer until 30 June 2015.

Other DUTIES include:

- Provide leadership and contribute to the delivery of corporate objectives with particular emphasis upon delivering successful web IT projects. This will include project and financial management, good knowledge of procurement and development of contracts for services and related tenders in accordance with Government Procurement Guidelines.
- Represent the IT/web team and/or project at appropriate policy, resource and project meetings within the organisation and in external forums. Liaise with external consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver web based business outcomes for the organisation
- Assist in requirements and solution analysis and manage the technical resources during the delivery phase. This will involve change management, resource and task allocation, promotion of deadlines and monitoring progress and quality of deliverables.
- Monitor and prioritise the work of the project team against the agreed corporate plan and identify opportunities for improved working practices to reflect the changing environment of museums and cultural collections.
