DESCRIPTION:
The Senior IT Project Manager will provide project oversight and direction for Marketing Resource Management and Digital Asset Management systems and initiatives. The Senior IT Project Manager will work closely with IT, Business, and external third-party service providers to deliver high quality, customer focused technology solutions and support services that provide substantial value to the business. Works on projects and other activities of varying duration. Depending on project assignments, this position will be responsible for completing some or all of the project tasks related to requirement definition and other required documentation. Must be accustomed to working with shared resources that have multiple assignments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Initiate and plan IT projects: Work with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on project goals, objectives and deliverables. Work with department management, stakeholders and sponsor to gain agreement for resolution on issues and risks.
- Project Control: Assess the degree to which changes to scope, issues and risks will affect project work within the department in order to gain agreement for resolution. Measure performance to assure the project is progressing as compared to original plan and budget.
- Executing and Closing Projects: Develops and executes a work breakdown structure, obtaining resources to ensure all activities are performed as planned. Gather lessons learned and obtain final project approval from sponsor and stakeholders.
- Project Communication: Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, Department and Division management.
- Resource and Team Management: Coordinate resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities. Manages completion of project tasks assigned to cross-functional project team of business analysts, vendors, business clients, and testers. Identifies issues that lead to (are considered for) process improvement and helps to implement solution. Communicate project progress by producing project reports to provide timely and accurate project status and decision support information to Project Team, and Department management.

SKILLS:

EXPERIENCE:

- At least 6 years experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, with a minimum of 3 years experience managing projects.
- Total Combined Experience: 7-10 years.
- Marketing Resource Management and/or Digital Asset Management experience is a plus, but not required.
