TITLE: Project Manager

LOCATION: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

INDUSTRY: Water Treatment

The Project Manager is our clients lead person at the site and is responsible for all onsite activity. Our client has been awarded the technical supervision contract and is providing design review and monitors the construction and commissioning phases of the project in Saudi Arabia.

The primary role and responsibilities of the Project Manager is:

- Leads the site monitoring team.
- Establishes and maintains relationships and develops a high level of trust and credibility with owners, contractors, and suppliers.
- Coordinates overall field effort including monitoring erection activities, material deliver, contractors compliance with safety, schedule, start up, and testing activities.
- Reviews, analyzes, and reports both weekly and monthly on project safety, quality performance, costs, and schedule; recommends appropriate action to the Owner to maintain the project plan.
- Conducts the weekly contractor meetings.
- Conducts the monthly progress and contractor management meetings.
- Establishes and maintains relationships and develops a high level of trust and credibility with owners, contractors, and suppliers.
- Monitors implementation of the EPC Contractor implementation of the following polices and systems.
- Project safety program
- Project quality assurance.
- Project controls.
- Project construction management procedures.
- Materials management procedures.
- Project start up and testing plan.
- Coordinates with Project Management and the Owner to approve Work Authorizations, contractor progress payments, and final payments to suppliers and contractors.
- Coordinates with Owner on change order management for construction contracts.
- Coordinates Owner to resolve all back charges and Construction Contractor claims.
- Drafts contractual correspondence for owner review and signature.
- Monitors collection of conformed to construction records, and other contract closeout activities.
