PROJECT MANAGER/TELCOM/GDPR/DATA

My client is looking for a PM who can work across the business to co-ordinate plans for implementing GDPR requirements. This position is located in Amsterdam (Netherlands) on a contract position!

My client is one of the leading European operators. The company seeks to continuously offer the best deals and offer the lowest prices on the market. They connect 14 million telecommunications service users in 9 countries. Below is the desired experience for this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- TELECOMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED as the candidate will be working across the firm (this is not a pure IT role) and will succeed better if he/she understands what the business does.
- Experience of DATA PRIVACY REQUIREMENTS AND/OR GDPR experience is a plus
- Strong stakeholder engagement; needs to have experience of working with senior managers who frequently have priorities which conflict with this project
- Disciplined and accountable - ensures work streams are delivered to agreed timescalealso helping to train sales and Back Office staff across the business
- Reports to the overall Program & Portfolio Manager

SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS:

- Based in the NETHERLANDS, with an excellent command of ENGLISH REQUIRED (company language)
- Excellent interpersonal and general communication skills, able to engage effectively at all levels, both internally and with 3rd parties, establishing and maintaining strong relationships and gaining buy-in to the project goals
- Needs to be personable, with a glass-half-full "positive" character
