Currently we are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER - TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGEMENT to join our client's team in Basel.

The Position Technical Product Management (TPM) optimizes product value and manage product risk across PT, from Launch to divestment. We ensure "product health" and long-term reliable supply through governance (PRC), cross-functional teams (TPTs) and consistent product strategies.

In your role as Project Manager, you will partner closely with a Technical Product Leader (TPL) to provide project management support in order to deliver successfully on the product objectives of 3 products (Biologics and Small Molecules).

The candidate will work closely with the Technical Product Team (TPT) and external partners to manage the timeline, resources, risks, and escalate issues. You will ensure product information flows between teams, functional management, and governance committees to facilitate transparency, informed decision making, and optimal alignment of all technical deliverables.

This position reports to Head of Business Operations, Technical Product Management, Small Molecules, and is based in Basel.

Key responsibilities:

Support TPL and TPTs by

- Organizing team meetings, tracking action items, risks, and milestones, keeping minutes, decision and action logs
- Facilitating team interactions and mobilizing teams to deliver on key objectives
- Applying project management skills
- Proactively communicating issues and concerns providing transparency with key customers and stakeholders in a highly visible, global setting
- Maintaining information in knowledge sharing tools (eg touchpoint folder)
- Track and drive implementation of strategic road map covering DS and DP changes of product from a cross functional point of view and across client/partner
- Track and support commitments of client/partner contracts
- Lead development and execution of sub- projects in the roadmap as required
- Manage small projects to enable tracking and timely implementation of changes necessary to supply product to patients

Requirements:

- Bachelor`s degree in science or engineering
- 10-12 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Understanding of pharmaceutical technical operations (CMC) is a strong asset as well as a track/exposure in development/manufacture/regulatory/quality of pharmaceutical products
- 5 to 8 years' experience in complex and exposed project management roles and ability to create and manage work plans and timelines
- Commitment to join videoconferences early in the morning and in the evening in person in Basel to manage the cross-functional and global team interactions appropriately
- Must be able to independently manage priorities and assignments across multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly Competent in PT tools relevant for project management (eg Excel, Powerpoint, Word, MS Project, Smartsheet, Tableu)
- High level of drive; able to manage multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously
- Must work well in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to customize information for various audiences.
- Global business experience and cultural awareness preferred
- Very fluent in oral and written English, German knowledge is a plus
