Overall Purpose:
Responsible for end-to-end project management throughout the life cycle of a software/system development project/program

Role and responsibilities

- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Project Management
- Conducts end to end project management of large or multiple large projects. Works as a team member or runs individual projects and is responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline and budget.
- Defines project scope and objectives, coordinates activities of a project team, and identifies resources.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
- Communicates with internal clients and external vendors

Education

- Preferred Bachelor of Business/Information Systems/Engineering/Math/Science degree or equivalent experience
- Computer science foundation
- 3-5 Years of experience managing IT/Network technical projects
- Proven track record of shipping secure, high quality software through all phases of the SDLC product development life cycle
- MS Project experience
- PMP Certification desired

Manager Specific:
Lease Admin, Lease Review, Document Control Responsible for the less complex tasks required in the testing and analysis of all elements of the network facilities (eg, power, communication machinery, software, lines, modems, and terminals). Assists and supports other employees in the NOC/TAC as initial fault isolation support for internal and external customers. Opens, updates, and closes trouble tickets as required to track progress of trouble resolution. Assists with network configuration/reconfiguration. Assists in the collection of customer requested data such as traffic reports as needed. Assists in the rapid assessment of both the nature and severity of customer problems and initiates calls to various support organizations as needed. Maintains documentation of daily operations. Typically reports to first or second level management.
