Project Manager - Supporting Avionic Equipment

I am looking to hire a C2/Flt Lt Equivalent Project Manager for one of my public sector client.

BACKGROUND IN SUPPORTING AVIONIC EQUIPMENT.

KEY OBJECTIVES FOR THE POST WILL BE TO:
1) Production of a Through Life Management Plan for a range of Avionic Equipment,
supporting multiple Air Platforms.
2) Production of a In-Service Support Requirements Document.
3) Production of a Technical Data Pack that will allow industry to bid an effective long
term support solution.
4) Support contracting action for interim support solutions

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Comprehensive experience and knowledge of In-Service Support.
- Background in Avionics Engineering Support.
- Excellent Project Management Skills, in particular Scheduling & Requirements Management.
- Knowledge of Defence Information Systems (Technical Documentation On-Line, Part Enquiry Search Tool, Supply Computer Control System, Item of Supply System,Managed Joint Deployed Inventory System).
- Experience in a Commodity Environment a distinct advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
