PROJECT MANAGER (SOLVENCY II, BRISTOL)

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join a financial services organisation in Bristol. The successful Project Manager will work within a Solvency II workstream looking to implement reporting processes into the specialist finance teams within the business.

The Project Manager will work very closely with Actuaries and Accountants and must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working with such finance teams to implement change programmes. For the successful Project Manager experience across Pillars 1, 2 & 3 would be quite valuable, as well as an in depth understanding of IMAP/SII Result Production Processes.

Project Manager (Solvency II) Criteria:

Experience in leading and delivering regulatory and legal projects within a Financial Services environment

Experience in dealing with a teams based in multiple locations.
- Track record working across Pillar 1 Production, Pillar 2 Governance and Pillar 3 Disclosure

A proven track record of creating and publishing agreed definitions for a project ensuring the buy-in of project sponsors and stakeholders.

Experience of using commercial awareness to design more complex project definitions.

Experience in communication of all project requirements to project members and department managers impacted by the development.

A track record of continually assessing the progress of a project and pre-empting problems by identifying change requirements.

Experience in managing cost, timescale, quality and benefits realisation requirements with the agreement of project sponsors

Experience in defining project governance including roles required within the project team and negotiating to ensure the appropriate positions are filled with appropriately qualified members.

Strong understanding of the requirements for project standards and documentation including timelines, status/risk/issue reporting and communication, exception reporting and project sign off.

Experience of managing individual project risks into a wider multi-project environment.
