PROJECT MANAGER - SOLVENCY II - BASED IN DUBLIN BUT WILL REQUIRE SOME TRAVEL TO THE UK EVERY MONTH.
Excellent insurance company looking to back fill a Project Manager role. They are looking for a PM with a strong Life Assurance/Insurance sector background and good Regulatory/compliance background.
Essential
- Practical experience of delivering Solvency 2 regulatory initiatives and/or solid financial services experience and knowledge of Accounting processes and common architectural themes
- Understanding of the Solvency 2 guidelines and associated Pillars (1-3)
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project team management and communication skills with ability to be a role model to others in these respects
- Effective stakeholder management including senior managers, and ability to work well with others at all levels
- Fully competent in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools
- Fully competent in using varied delivery methodologies, including Agile.
- Strong understanding of financial control principles as they apply to projectsDesirable:
- Project management qualification desirable (Prince2)
- Previous experience of working on Finance projects
