Project Manager - Software Engineering

PROJECT MANAGER - ENGINEERING, SOFTWARE, PRINCE2, FULL LIFECYCLE

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for the performance and overall completion of multiple projects of up to £5M value for the development of Software Systems.

The successful candidate will be Prince2 qualified, will have an Engineering or similar degree and will have full project management life cycle experience.

You will be working with a global engineering organisation on the latest innovative technological developments. This is an exciting opportunity offering huge career growth potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Direct projects involving extensive Software Engineering Development
- Serving as the primary contact for the customer
- Manage, oversee, monitor and approve all elements of assigned projects from inception to completion
- Review and approve technical approach, feasibility and cost estimates
- Plan and manage resource availability for projects including engineering, manpower, production, computer support or installation facilities

REQUIREMENTS:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or other technical discipline
- Prince 2 qualification
- Strong experience of full life cycle Project Management
- Experience of managing, building and motivating teams
- Good experience of Project Management tools including scheduling, spreadsheets and presentations
- Previous experience of multi-tiered Software or Engineering Development projects would be highly desirable
