Project Manager - Software Development

6 month Software Development Project Manager position in Tampa, FL.

The position is responsible for managing (Global and Domestic) software product development programs that range from hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars in revenue. This position primarily manages such development programs which consist of multiple complex projects under a product umbrella. This involves working with cross-functional teams, executive members as well as external customers. Requires managing and validating the development and tracking of program and complex project plans including scope, schedule, cost, risks, estimates, deliverables and dependencies.

Requirements:

- Strong working knowledge of software development process/methodologies and telecommunications including wireless and Wireline industries.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, team building, facilitation, conflict management, influence management and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in creating project plans in Clarity - Project Workbench and in using MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Minimum of 12 years of project management experience
- PMP certification would be a big plus
