The Project Manager (PM), is responsible for managing the Security Baseline Vulnerability Prevention Project and achieving its objectives. PM has the necessary background and experience to be able to give the Project Team directions and maintain control of progress and budget.

Responsibilities include, managing quality, timeliness, cost of the deliverables, and stakeholder satisfaction, adhering to defined management and delivery processes for IT projects and other policies relevant to the projects scope (eg HW/SW standards, CSV, Information Security), leading project tollgates to get approval for progressing through the project life cycle, reporting project status and raising issues to the Steering Committee when help is needed.

Key deliverables in this case is for the Security Baseline Service - no technical qualification of tool documentation is anticipated, but SLA's, OM's, Governance, and other documents needed to manage a service are anticipated as key deliverables for this projects.
