Project Manager (SAP Release Management)

System Dynamics currently have a requirement for an experienced Project Manager to manage quarterly block releases for the following corporate wide SAP systems and client systems:

Block Release for Corporate SAP Systems

- HR and Payroll
- Finance modules (eg FICO, Project Systems)
- Integrated Work Management system (IWM)
- Budget Planning and Consolidation

Block Release for client

- IS-U for large industrial & commercial electricity
- IS-U for residential electricity & gas
- CRM7
- Streamserve

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for liaising with multiple business areas and managing and co-ordinating the full life cycle of each block release (SDLC) ie
- Requirements gathering
- High Level scoping & estimation
- Business prioritisation
- Planning
- Detailed scoping & estimating
- Resource scheduling
- Managing build phase
- Managing Test phases (ie unit, system, UAT, regression testing)
- Managing Cutover
- Managing Issues and Risks
- Managing communications with all stakeholders
- Managing and tracking the project budget
- Reporting progress of the project at regular intervals

QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficient in the suite of MS Applications, MS SharePoint and MS Project, MS Excel, Word
- Knowledge of PRINCE2 Project Management methodology

ADDED VALUE

- Experience of SAP block release management
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in block release management (preferably SAP)
- Configuration and functional knowledge of SAP modules (HR & Payroll, FICO, PS, IS-U). Ideally 3-5 years' experience.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Relevant diploma or degree
