Project Manager (Risk) - Investment Banking - London

Project Manager required by large Investment Bank, based in London to work within the Bank's Risk IT area on a tactical large high profile project.

You will have recent and extensive Investment Banking experience as a Project Manager with an understanding of the Credit/Market Risk domain (Risk management, counter-party, VaR, RWA, CVA and EPE calculation), Credit Risk Modelling coupled with exposure to the Front and Back Office IT environment whilst facing off to the business on a regular basis. You will also need a proven track record in managing complex Matrix reporting lines and mentoring at all levels (senior managers to developer). An understanding of the current regulatory environment (eg, Basel 3) and/or experience working on projects with a regulatory component is highly desirable.

Within this role you will be part of a long term project to implement a consistent EPE model in the Front to Back infrastructure that will be used for both the calculation of CVA and to manage counter-party credit risk. You will work closely with business and IT to plan and manage all phases of IT work, and assist in estimation with the business and drive and ensure the business provides appropriate specifications and estimates.Ikas International Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
