Project Manager - Retail Separation

Leading utility located on the Eastern Seaboard of Australian requires a Project Manager for a 12 month plus contract to work interstate to help with the transfer of their retail data assets to new owners.

This challenging project will see you transfer the data to the new owners from initiation through to delivery.

ON A DAILY BASIS YOU WILL BE INVOLVED IN;

- Determine the most appropriate way to transfer the retail data to the new owners.
- Developing, in conjunction with stakeholders, high quality and detailed project plans and schedules to provide stakeholders with clarity and confidence of what needs to be done, who will do the work and when it will be done.
- Providing direction to the project staff and contractors that are engaged on the project to ensure the coordinated delivery of project outcomes.
- Managing stakeholder relationships with key business and IT 'data' stakeholders 
- Identifying key influences on the project, including risks and issues and managing or resolving these in an effective and timely manner; and most importantly
- Creation of services arrangement
- Ensuring project is delivered on time, on budget and meets customer expectations

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE;

- You will have a proven track record in transferring data assets. 
- Extensive experience and a track record in the delivery of data migration projects (Datawarehouse, ERP or similar)
- Previous experience with Business Intelligence/Datawarehouse technology 
- Experience migrating to/from custom built systems 
- Experience with systems integration/interfaces 
- Experience migrating data from one application stack to another 
- Utilities industry experience essential highly desirable
- Experience managing high level projects in a large complex environment 
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills 
- PMP certification or Prince 2 practitioner advantageous
