Project Manager - Retail Experience is Must

Need a Strong Project Manager profile with 9+ years of experience in Project Management across various industry domains including Retail clients

- Need this candidate to have experience working with Retail customers and understand Stores related IT components
- Must Understand all aspects of managing a project from,Project Plan, Risks, status reporting, stakeholder management etc
- Knowledge of the Retail Store operations will be very helpful along with knowledge of Retail IT components and its dependencies
- Should be a quick learner to adapt and quickly take control of Retail terminologies and understanding while Managing the Retail Project
- Should be capable of working across business, IT and 3rd party teams and should be able to bring effective collaboration within the three to meet the goals of the project
- Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent in communication and should be ready to travel for short assignments
- Should be good at documentation to be able to constantly feedback day to day learning in the project plan
- Should have experience working with Multiple 3rd party vendor environment and ability to get things done
- Has good understanding of Retail terminology used in a store environment
- Responsibilities include planning, execution, tracking, negotiating and meeting new store opening timelines by managing the entire project effectively along with various stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the Retail customer and various other 3rd party partners to make it happen.
- Identify risks and raise them ahead of time, along with mitigation plans
- Document lessons learnt to be able to update the project plan accordingly so that future releases are not affected by same problem.
- Ability to anticipate show stopper events affecting the critical path of execution
