My client, a leading UK Retail Bank, is currently looking for an accomplished Project Manager to join their Group Operations division on a Process Transformation programme.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Process Transformation is one of the key strategic PEGA programmes being implemented under End to End Simplification

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The overall purpose of the role is to oversee the delivery of the mortgages project within Process Transformation:

- Management of PEGA deployment delivery following agile methodology- both business and IT.
- Ability to generate senior stakeholder packs for governance forums
- Management of staff (approx 8) and strong communication skills across multiple business areas
- Ensuring appropriate governance is maintained for the projects
- Reporting to senior stakeholders.

CORE SKILLS

- Ability to deal with complex information and interpret this
- Strong leadership style and ability to communicate effectively
- Management of key stakeholders (3rd Party, Business and Programme Level)
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
- Agile experience required
- Experience of working within Retail Banking (ideally Mortgages). Understanding of Process Transformation and the ability to work in a fluid yet fast paced environment
- Confident to be able to present at senior level meetings

DESIRED SKILLS

- To support the process transformation delivery team in managing a number of process projects and ensuring they are delivered in time, cost and quality
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills with the ability to present factual information to individuals or groups in a structured, clear, confident and concise way
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly and make recommendations based on fact
- Experience of working & managing external third party firms and suppliers
- Engagement with a diverse group of stakeholders to influence and shape the direction of a project to meet set milestones
- Excellent communication and influencing skills at a senior level
