Project Manager - Retail Banking - Insurance - Bristol - £510/day

My client, a leading UK retail bank are currently recruiting for an accomplished Project Manager with a strong financial background, to join their Insurance Finance Simplification programme.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

Efficiency cost reductions and improvements in reporting infrastructure

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To support the Programme Manager to deliver the Insurance Finance Simplification project.

The role will require the project manager to:

- Ensure key deliverables are delivered within the agreed schedule, quality and cost objectives.
- Set up the project environment, structure, support and agree roles and responsibilities.
- Work with multiple stakeholders, including Operations and IT, to ensure the success of the project is achieved.
- Setting the work scope and targets for business analysts and/or other team members
- Assess and plan to manage the change deliverables
- Risk and issue management
- Change control management
- Stakeholder management

CORE SKILLS

- Experience of process improvement/cost reduction essential
- Good project delivery track record
- Presentation/Facilitation
- Project Management
- Change Management
- Full Life Cycle Experience
