Project Manager - Regulatory Reporting

PROJECT MANAGER

We are currently hiring for a project manager for our banking Client in Singapore for 12 months contract. The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of project outputs for different initiatives within Investment Banking environment, especially around regulations. Candidates with a proven track record of management and delivery of projects and change initiatives will be highly regarded.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for:

- Develop a strong understanding of the banks strategic direction, organizational structure and overall business goals in order to define complete program requirements with business sponsors
- Provide leadership and facilitate the work of cross-functional program teams globally by setting project objectives and defining tactics necessary to accomplish these objectives
- Drive cross-functional team members to develop detailed project schedules and milestones, project plans, budget, scope, timeline and risks and risk mitigation plans to meet program requirements
- Develop program budgets and integrate program costs into the organization-level budgets and financial forecasts
- Own and maintain a complete program schedule and issues and risk list
- Manage assigned internal project team members (from business and IT) as well as external partners such as software vendors and technology consultancies.
- In particular, manage the strategic relationship with the product vendors as well as Service Integrators that help the bank manage application support, development and testing activities

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Extensive program and project management expertise (minimum of 7 years in similar areas) in a banking environment ideally with exposure to Regulatory Reporting) .Professional qualifications in PRINCE2 and/or PMI, PMP will be highly regarded
- Process proven track record of project management and delivery within Investment banking. Experience running regulatory projects will be advantageous
- Excellent analytical skills with an ability to translate complex topics into actionable and effective processes
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with various levels of seniority within the organisation
- Proficient Microsoft Office products
- Ability to think out of the box and possess a flexible attitude
