Project Manager Regulations Save & Invest

Context
The candidate will work in the product management save & invest team, situated within marketing Retail & Private Banking.
Product management save & invest is in charge of the definition & execution of the save & invest product roadmap:
- The team defines the (roadmap of) features & price for individual products and is in charge of the product offering (product portfolio) and assures they are implemented as efficient as possible and in line with legislation.
- The team is responsible for the value proposition and positioning of individual products including all pure product related information/marketing this in collaboration with communication save & invest.
- The team manages all product lifecycle events, ensuring correct follow up of these events in collaboration with our product suppliers and other internal entities and coordinates communication towards clients in collaboration with communication, sales and campaign.
- Regulatory impact analysis is equally part of the responsibilities of the team
The candidate will work on this last point, hence analysis and implementation of new regulation in the bank, this in collaboration mainly with legal, compliance, IT and sales departments.
Function Description
The candidate is responsible for the analysis, management and implementation of regulations in the field of save & invest within retail & private banking. Aim is to find the right balance between the necessary implementation of legislation, and the interest of client and bank, this in collaboration with other departments within marketing, sales management, legal, compliance and tax. The scope will be mainly on MIFID II and PRIIPS regulations.
- Important task is related to product governance requirements in MIFID II. After analysis of the requirements, the candidate should organise a project structure taking initiative to organise meetings, follow up with the goal to translate this in adapted product governance processes making the bank MIFIDII compliant : adaptation product approval process, adaptation service level agreements,…
- Candidate will be the SPOC for regulatory issues within marketing, supporting other teams, and challenging legal & compliance (if needed) in order to reconcile business and regulatory needs

The candidate should have or be able to acquire rapidly a thorough knowledge of recent regulations like MIFID II, PRIIPS, IDD… an affinity with legal (texts) certainly a plus.
