Project Director for Railway Project - Eastern Europe
Our Client is an internationally recognised leading expert in the building of Railway Networks.
They are currently seeking to recruit a senior individual with at least 10 to 15 years proven track record and expertise in working on railway projects and delivering to a high standard.
This railway project is quite complex and will require someone with a clear vision to work on deliver the relevant aspects of the project by the timelines that are set.
The project is to work on the design and construction of a new railway infrastructure including tunnelling, airflow, the station, parking to include all civil engineering works.
You will be required to oversee the applications for Building Permits and all administrative permits required for the construction

The expertise required by the Contractor to prepare the selection of technical equipment.
The project design includes the following disciplines
- Architecture of the station and parking
- E & M equipment, including power supply, sanitary installation, heating, ventilation station and parking
- Civil engineering including Dewatering and viaducts
The system engineering (including Catenary and Track but excluding signalling, telecommunications and energy roads (including traffic lights and signs)
Trams
The VRD and demolitions necessary
Environment The geological and topographical
You will be responsible for a team of around 15 people.
The role will be responsible for the coordination of production at various centres across Europe and is supported in this by a Technical Coordinator
- Responsible for taking into account requests Client
- Responsible for the financial results of the case
- Responsible for site safety
- Participate in Steering Committee with the lead Clients
The position will extend to Country Manager.
You must have at least
- 15 years of experience in the field of railway projects or in projects or in tunnel building projects.
- At least 5 years experience as Project Manager, at least for half of the services vis-a-vis manufacturers. Component Engineering (especially underground) is desirable.
- Experience in management of multicultural teams (at least 5 years)
- Coupled with Autonomy, Discipline, Customer Relations.
- Must be able to speak English this is must.
- You will require a degree in Engineering.
The duration of the contract is 18 months with an immediate start.
The rate is negotiable.
