Project Manager (Rail Infrastructure)

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager contract to work in London

This is a contract role paying up to £400-£450p/d Ltd and is initially a contract until 26/12/2015

Skills and Experience:
*Not an IT focused programme of work, but rail infrastructure.
*Experienced project manager who can hit the ground running- reporting to project directors
Strong reporting skills essential, not just numbers but narratives and explanations
* Prince 2, Agile
*Working alongside the project team comprising of commercial leads, specification leads, commercial assistance, projects assistance
*Liaising with the finance team, financial advisers
*Previous experience in rail infrastructure, rail industry
The Role:
*The successful delivery of the project(s) to the agreed objectives, budget, quality and schedule;
* Lead the day-to-day planning activities, risk management, coordinating schedules, tasks and dependencies;
*Control of the project budget (circa £3m to £10m), monitoring the expenditure and costs against forecast using effective financial controls;
*Manage information and prepare reports and presentations for Project Boards etc;
*Effective management of relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders;
*Ensure there is appropriate adherence to corporate governance and assurance and that commercial and procurement control is adequately exercised;
* Implement effective risk and issue management and promoting a positive risk management culture within the team.

*BPSS + Disclosure Scotland clearance will be required for this role* (We will provide this)
