Our client an NHS Trust in Central London are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to support the QIPP Programme.

The post holder will be responsible for a portfolio of local service improvement/QIPP/Primary Care Improvement areas and projects which will enable clinical transformation to take place across the Borough.

The role will:

Define, plan and manage projects, including those that support local QIPP plan implementation and care Pathway redesign, to agreed timeframes
Ensure projects are aligned to strategic and operational objectives
Ensure key stakeholders, particularly clinicians working in primary care, are engaged in project development and implementation
Identify and track benefits realisation including associated savings and patient experience
Produce project documentation including project initiation documents, business cases, detailed workbooks and on-going monitoring reports
Take on specific service redesign and whole systems management responsibilities to support local service development and operation including dealing with capacity issues, supporting primary care professionals to become involved in service redesign and working across directorates to ensure a joined up approach to the implementation of new ways of working.
The post holder will be confident and capable of interpreting and influencing complex political agendas and of fostering excellent working relationships with local stakeholders within the Trust, particularly GPs and other primary care professionals. This post primarily involves the design of services, the development of project plans and their subsequent implementation. Other activities will include chairing meetings, preparing board and committee papers, keeping ahead of changes that will influence the work of the team and the strategic direction of the CCG, negotiating service agreements and engaging with their peers and other local professionals in other CCGs and in the CSU. It is important that the post holder is able to effect clinical transformation of services.
