Project Manager/Project Engineer

Project Manager (Project Engineers Will Be Considered)- 24 month initial contract - Wolverhampton

I am currently looking for a Project Manager/Project Engineer for my client based in Wolverhampton.
My client, specialising in Powertrain Assembly within the Automotive and Aerospace industry, are looking for a project manager/engineer to support an engine assembly project, initially on a 24 month contract with the possibility to move to permanent after, to be based on site at one of their main customers. The role is initially on a 2 year contract; however the role has been established for career progression, with the successful candidate eventually running the entire plant. It is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed and enthusiastic at the same time wanting to learn and progress their career.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities;
*Analysis of contract terms and conditions
*Preparation of technical quotes and cost estimates
*Review orders
*Preparation of project timing plans
*Preparation of Project Specifications
*Monitoring all of the departments from engineering to installation
*Project meetings and company progress meetings
*Oder placements for specialist equipment
*Resource analysis
*Liaising with customers
*Budgetary control and management.

The successful candidate will have the following experience;
*Experience with high volume production is essential, not necessarily from the automotive industry, however this would be desirable.
*A basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics and robotics
*Experience of working within an assembly environment within a plant
*Electrical systems knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
*Engineering knowledge
*Experienced with Microsoft programmes
*An enthusiastic and committed individual wanting to develop their skills and grow career

The salary is competitive but completely Dependent on the individuals' skill and level and experience.
