Project Manager Production/Supply Chain (SAP)

For one of our clients in Amsterdam we are looking for a Project Manager Production/Supply Chain (SAP).

We are looking for someone who has worked in a continuous improvement environment, and who can manage, develop and implement different SAP projects. The Project Manager manages and delivers a project in accordance with processes and governance, and within scope, quality, budgetary and time targets. This entails project scoping, planning, execution, managing transitions and evaluation. The Project Manager has the ability to manage multiple international stakeholders with differing priorities. Acting as a focal point for key stakeholders and end-user is key.

Tasks:
Manage all aspects of delivering the complete solution, business and technical, according to the agreed scope, quality, budget and time
Manage and report on project planning, progress, financials, issues and risks according standards
Manage and report on project, programme and portfolio progress, issues and risks
Develop and manage the execution, deployment and transition plans across the functions and OpCos
Act as counterpart to local staff responsible for transition
Deliver the programme/project within scope, time and budget and in line with methodology, policies, standards and working practices
Manage project budget decisions as well as financial risks and opportunities
Construct cost plan, secure funding and actively manage and control spend, forecasts and budgets
Proactively identify, manage and mitigate risks and issues during the life of the project
Identify and actively engage key internal and external stakeholders and establish collaborative, win-win relations
Actively engage people to ensure the right team is in the right place at the right time and foster an open and safe project environment for the team to work effectively and efficiently
Establish a project governance organisation with clear roles and responsibilities and an effective process for escalating issue and communicating decisions

Requirements:
experience in working at large international corporate companies
experience with SAP projects is a must-have! (knock-out)
excellent interpersonal communication skills
experienced in presenting to and working at board levels
stake holder management on all levels
minimum of 7 year experience as a project manager
extensive knowledge of project management methodologies, management and planning methods and techniques
hands-on project management with international experience
the will to achieve results, the ability to get this done within a complex international Matrix organization
fluent in English (verbal and written).
