Project Manager - Product Launch

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manages a cross-functional team responsible for planning, coordinating and driving the global launch of companion products per roadmaps planned in conjunction with Product Development Managers.
- Responsible for delivery of products on schedule, with high quality, as well as developing and enhancing the related program management processes for continuous improvement.
- Provides a focal point (interface) between various global teams and supplier/partners.
- Oversees the planning and scheduling of the category programs and managing the implementation/execution of the activities associated with product launch/ship acceptance process through the M2 phase of the product.
- Executes all development Product Decision milestones, Operations Reviews, and New Product Introduction Reviews.
- Manages risk with pro-active schedule management and risk mitigation to meet program launch commitments.
- Develops effective working relationships with ODMs to execute to a critical Ship Acceptance Schedule.

SKILLS

Must have 5+years of program or project management experience. Knowledge and experience in executing communication/accessories product development programs, including both hardware and software development processes, required. Ability to handle multiple programs simultaneously within a Matrix organization needed. Must be self-driven and a self-starter. Demonstrated ability to deliver programs on time/cost/meet customer expectations is critical for success in this role.
