Project Manager/Process Manager - ITIL, Incident Resolution - Federal

Our client is a high profile Government Agency with offices located throughout Australia. The department is looking for a talented PROJECT MANAGER/PROCESS MANAGER to join their state office in the ACT. Working within the IT Services area are you will be required to manage the end to end ICT Incident/Problem resolution using ITIL's best practices. This is an initial 12 month contract position commencing in the new financial year with a rewarding hourly rate on offer.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO;

- Manager the IT Services activities and diagnose the root cause of Incident Management and determine resolutions to problems;
- Implement process improvements within the incident and problem management teams;
- Interface closely with the Knowledge Manager to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into the continuous improvement of the IT division and;
- Maintain information about problems and the appropriate workarounds and resolutions to reduce the number and impact of Incident Management over time.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS/DEMONSTRATE;

- Previous Change/Incident/Problem Management experience;
- Experience in Problem Management using the ITIL framework with proven resolution outcomes;
- Demonstrate experience in the area of ICT service management or administration;
- Ability to manage multiple high priority efforts/competing priorities and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities;
- Previous government experience highly desirable however;
- ITIL qualifications and experience highly desirable.
