Project Manager (PMP/P2/CMMI/Agile)- Aviation - Ireland - up to €585

AGILE TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER - IRELAND/LETTERKENNY - UP TO €585
This contract is for an initial 12 months with availability to extend. You will be working within the aviation space for a Global client based in Aldershot.
THE AGILE PROJECT MANAGER SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES:
1) First and foremost should have a software development background such as being a Developer at some point in your career and then progressed to project management - MUST HAVE EXPOSURE TO CMMI
2) Be PMI-PMP or Prince 2 certified or both, skilled in MS Office, Project, SharePoint tools, AGILE tool JIRA
a) Document defects/charts, tables, reports, meeting coordination, defect triage meetings, use of HQ Quality Center tool
b) Document backlog(s) in Excel, work with SDM, makes sure to file and update reports etc are up to date in SharePoint
c) Raise and progress CRs through CAB/PLT system
d) Work with SDM on project planning (SDM does most of this with factory)
e) Ensure dependencies are tracked across all domains using Excel or MPP
f) Help provide coverage with other TPMs and SDMs during holidays or missions, willing to be flexible and do what ever is needed today to keep the project rolling
g) Keep process side (CMMI) of project up to date in SharePoint/PAL2, willing to both encourage others but also to do the detailed planning or not so exciting work needed
h) Collaborate with the other TPMs, SDMs, managers, directors, offshore teams, test teams and who ever else is needed
i) Help solve project problems, progress blockers where needed
j) Understand project budget, schedule keeping on time performance on track in OTOB
k) Given this client is a global company have flexible working hours for late/early meetings in USA/India, invest in their own time to learn processes
l) Experienced in split second decision making, last second change in plans, honesty in reporting wven if the news is bad, admit if this is something you are not sure of, ask question, why we doing this what are the benefits etc etc
m) Complete the not so exciting tasks in a project like documentation, meeting minutes, adhoc reports, presentations,
n) From above you get the idea and why I say the first round of resumes are perhaps a little too high level for this position or not in good alignment with software development.
3) Has first hand exposure to CMMI and worked with CMMI assembling the artifacts, adopting the processes into their projects
As the technical Project Manager you will be dealing with developers, testers, development managers, all focused around software development and you need to be able to talk that talk, in addition CMMI, you need to know what CMMI is, need to be able to explain how you applied it in other contracts in that the exposure to it and can pick it up upon touchdown within this role.
