Prestigious Enterprise Company is currently seeking a Project Manager. Candidate provides direction, oversight and thought leadership to the strategic project and program initiatives. The role is required to manage across IT and the business functions depending on the strategic initiative. They must have the ability to manage complexity, learn quickly and apply learnings to manage the work. The PM role must lead project initiatives and is responsible for the day-to-day operation, direction and control of the project. This includes creating and managing the project plan, issues and risks, as well as, developing and implementing a communication plan that includes reporting of status to all stakeholders and coordination of information. The role will also demonstrate change leadership and take a global/enterprise view on how projects can support growth.

Responsibilities:

Overall project and program coordination and management for one or more cross-functional projects or programs including: Scope Management, Budget and Cost Management, Project Work Plans, Project Interdependencies, Project Resource Management, Project Issues and Risks

Responsible for ensuring on-time, on-budget high quality delivery of various technology projects, associated with stabilizing and enhancing current mission-critical business applications

Work with Executive Project Sponsors and project teams to drive project execution.

Show leadership within the project team to ensure the right level of collaboration between the business/IT and deliver the strategic projects. Help build and enterprise approach through the projects.

Build team morale and manage interpersonal conflicts

Manage communication (including status reporting) with all areas of the organization that impacts scope, budget, risk and resources

Develop and implement project management processes and methodology

Negotiate agreements and commitments to help drive the project from initiation to closure.

Strong project and program management

Team leadership skills to establish, monitor, and achieve project goals with minimal supervision.

Ability to manage complexity

Critical thinking

Review project proposals and assist in creation of business cases

Ability to manage ambiguity in a developing organization

Excellent written communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to clearly, concisely, and persuasively compose correspondence and narrative reports, which communicate messages consistent to both internal and external audiences, using appropriate tone, grammar, and word usage.

Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Business Administration or Management Information Systems or related field.

A minimum of 8 years of technical and business work experience.

A minimum of 8 years of IT experience including 6+ years of experience in an IT project management role.

PMP Certification.

Ability to travel when required (approximately 10% of the time)

Merger and acquisition experience a plus
