Project Manager/PMO - Post Merger Integration - Czech Republic - 12 mo

For our client, a dynamic and multinational company, we are looking for a motivated:

Project Manager/PMO - Post Merger Integration - Czech Republic - 12 months contract

Main Tasks:

- Adhere to the standard PM tools and practices defined by the Global PMO
- Be part of a Global multidiscipline team working on strategic global Networks Projects
- Support the Country Manager and the regional Directors to achieve the Post Merger Integration project objectives in time, cost and according to the specifications
- Ensure milestone achievement, maintain issue/risk logs, perform change control, perform status reporting, manage project budget, update document repository, manage conflict resolution
- Baseline sub-project plans and budgets and manage changes per change requests process
- Facilitate quality gate reviews at a country level
- Manage escalation threshold
- Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to discuss project management related issues
- Communicate with all key stakeholders to ensure full commitment to the projects
- Participate in Regional and Country management meetings and report country portfolio status to the Global PMO
- Ensure project documentation is kept in an easily accessible repository
- Review project business case to ensure measures are taken to achieve the objectives
- Manage conflict resolution and communicate at country level
- Capture and distil project lessons learned

Requirements:

- 5 years of experience with Professional Project Management practices and in international projects
- Experience in Post-Merger Integration projects
- Formal Project Management Education (PMP, Prince2, IPMA ) is a MUST
- University Degree in Economics and/or Engineering
- Solid command of Project Management Methods
- Experience with Project Management Information systems (eg MS Project)
- Competency to influence others Experience in working virtually
- Excellent communication & networking skills, excellent negotiation skills
- True team player
- Native in Czech and proficiency in English is a must. Spanish or German would be a plus
- Availability to travel
