Project Manager (PMO) - Contract Role

Large, Canberra-based Federal Government Department seeking a Project Manager with specialised project scheduling skills, to make major contributions toward improving existing capability in developing and maintaining effective project schedules. In this role, you will be working within the Program/PMO Section.

TO BE A SUCCESS IN THIS CONTRACT ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

- Strong skills in developing effective schedules for complex IT projects in MS Project server
- Strong project management skills in complex ICT environments
- Strong product development skills in relation to ICT methods
- Strong capability to successfully facilitate information gathering and actively develop shared understandings and outcomes
- Strong ability to be able to coach others and present to small groups on schedule development

IT IS DESIRABLE IF YOU ARE:

- Familiar with P3O and P3M3 assessment methodologies
