Pharmaceutical Project Manager (SC) - Contract - Wiltshire - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Project Manager with experience in the pharmaceutical sector to work at a leading defence client in Wiltshire based on a contract basis.

A project manager with experience of pharmaceutical development is required to provide specialist advice to manage these complexed projects. A suitably experienced individual will manage the projects in a proactive manner and respond to customer requirements in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities include:

- To interpret and deliver the required output through a common understanding of the customer need and desired outcome; to act as the prime point of contact for the customer and Dstl in matters pertaining to the project.
- To manage/mitigate the identified project risks (encompassing Technical, Financial, Commercial, Health and Safety, Environmental, Security aspects)
- To utilise appropriate tools and techniques to plan, monitor and report progress, deliver output, and effect payment for work done.
- To ensure that the planned benefit or output, in terms of time, cost and quality, is delivered with the minimum acceptable risk

Experience required for this role:

- Significant pharmaceutical industry experience related to product development through manufacturing, non-clinical studies and clinical studies
- An understanding of clinical trial regulations from submission, communication to competent authorities/ethical committees to study execution and maintenance would be ideal.
- Strong and successful background as a Project Manager
- Proven ability to forecast and manage project resourcing and budgets.
- Due to the nature of the client it would be an advantage for candidates to hold or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance
